Kai’s love for playing the piano started when he was just ten years old. He was at a friends house when he heard Yann Tiersen’s ‘Comptine d’un autre été’ and immediately wanted to learn. Kai had a natural flair and picked up playing very quickly, shortly after his parents bought Kai a keyboard.
Kai’s mum Juliana contacted a local rock school in Basingstoke where he was to be taught by Lewis Bolland. He continued hourly lessons every week and then started lessons privately with Lewis’s company Private Piano Tuition UK. Kai excelled in his learning and playing and was invited to every studio and performing opportunity Private Piano Tuition UK had to offer. At 14 he started performing for a local cafe ‘Acorns’ and was then approached to play his first wedding which included playing ‘A Thousand Years’ for the brides walk down the aisle.
Today Kai performs professionally for private events and seeks to perform onboard ships in 2023.
